The 5th Kos 3X3 Basketball Festival, organized by A.S. Phoivos from July 28 to 31 at Antagora Square in Kos, was held and concluded with great success. With participations beyond all expectations (total 82/Panhellenic record of participations) and with many categories, people had the opportunity to enjoy basketball and fill the center of the island, applauding the efforts of young and old. Present at yesterday's finale of the tournament were the Mayor of Kos, Theodosis Nikitaras, the District Governor of Kos, Yiannis Kampanis, the Deputy Mayor for Sports and Culture, Sevi Vlachou, and the President of DOPABS Panagiotis Hadjichristofis, who made the awards together with the guest of honor of Phoebus, Dimitris Papanikolaou, who happily took photos with several basketball friends and signed dozens of autographs.
For another year (5th in a row) the Da Luz team, despite having changes in its composition, managed to win first place again. The major sponsor was the K.D.A.P. Imagine, with co-organizers the South Aegean Region and the Municipality of Kos, while the event was organized under the auspices of the EEC.
